Ninja smoothie blender 20161/1/2024 The cups are easy to clean and won’t take up much room in your cabinet either. We also appreciated that the Magic Bullet Blender comes with a second single-serving cup, as well as a third “short cup,” so it’s a useful option for more than one person. Thanks to the small cup size - these are truly single-serving cups - minimal powder stuck to the sides while blending, an annoying issue that some of the larger cups suffered from. On our powdered protein drink test, it actually performed better than almost every other blender. It performed well in all our tests, although it did take a little longer to reach full blend than the larger, more powerful models we looked at. This straightforward operation, combined with its small size - about a 4.5-inch footprint - made it one of our favorite options.ĭespite its compact size, the Magic Bullet Blender had similar heft and sturdiness to our top pick, the Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro. This compact blender couldn’t be easier to use you just fill the cup, twist on the blade and press it down on the base to activate the motor. If you have limited counter space, or don’t have room to store a new appliance in your kitchen, you may want to go with another option, like the Magic Bullet.īest budget personal blender: Magic Bullet Blender Though not a deal breaker, the drawback to the Ninja is its relatively large size compared to the other personal blenders we tried. The design of the lids, blades and large cups made everything simple to clean, and all the components are dishwasher-safe as well. Since it also comes with two travel lids, the Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro can be a great option for a couple or household. The Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro includes two “single-serve” cups, though at 16 ounces they can definitely make two servings. It was easy to screw on and the lid cover flips out of the way while you’re drinking, securely snapping back down when you’re not. The travel lid of the Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro was far and away the best of the bunch. Whether this is due to the more vertically oriented blade assembly or to the Auto-iQ blend-and-pause routine, the Ninja also never got “stuck” or needed any manual shaking to clear lumps of partially blended ingredients like some other blenders did. It easily crushed ice and frozen fruit, pulverized leafy and fibrous vegetables and had no trouble mixing our powdered protein drink in about 10 seconds. The Ninja had no trouble making any of our test smoothies. If you’d rather keep an eye on things and stop it manually, you can turn off this function at any time by pressing the “start/stop” button. We were initially skeptical of this feature, but ended up being impressed with the results, and appreciated how it let us hit the button once and walk away to do other things, confident we’d get good results. The Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro has dedicated crush, smoothie and pulse modes, but our favorite feature in testing was its Auto-iQ function, which automatically selects a blending and pausing pattern for your chosen mix and stops once the blend is complete. Its straightforward control panel was the simplest to understand right out of the box of all the personal blenders we tested, making it easy to get right to blending as soon as we plugged it in. The Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro’s solid construction gives the machine a sturdy, high-quality feel, and the wide base provides a stable foundation for its powerful motor. Builders of egypt game release date1/1/2024 But he purchased so few that I would only get a couple of hundred bread from him and he would leave behind the majority of the goods I had produced, and the workforce required to make them cost close to the amount he had purchased, so at that rate it was going to take me several years of sitting and waiting to complete the mission objectives after completing the tutorial aims.įinally I noticed some things with the tutorial itself, mostly spelling and grammatical errors, which I am assuming will be addressed closer to the release date (I have no idea of game development timeline). It seemed like the only way I was gaining it was when the trader arrived from the nearby city with the trade route and purchased some goods. I was a little confused as to how to earn bread. So it seems the houses inhabitants aren't going to the bazaar to top up their supplies as often as they should have. My houses were getting downgraded complaining of a lack of food when the bazaar across the road had thousands of fish and a good store of wheat. Similarly, the AI of the houses seemed really lazy. "Don't take" for instance could mean that the stockpile shouldn't be taking and storing from the producer, or it could mean that the next in the chain of production like the brickmaker shouldn't be taking from the stockpile. I was also confused about the wording in the stockpile options. Similarly, the collectors that were collecting clay seemed insistent on taking it to the further stockpile from the pits instead of the more efficient nearer one, despite that one having plenty of spare space and setting a higher threshold for storing clay. But althoiugh I had 20 spare workers and the clay pits were waiting for collection, the stockpiles were running at 1/10 collectors, so I don't understand why my unemployed citizens weren't addressing this issue. In looking at my stockpiles (I put in two) there was no clay there, presumably why the potter and brickmaker were complaining. For example, my clay pits were all full and thus not producing more clay, meanwhile the potter and brickmaker were both warning that I had no clay resources. Onto the actual gameplay, everything on the whole seems to work as intended, though I feel like the mathematics and AI are a little off. Oh and the edge scrolling would sometimes do nothing, sometimes move slowly, sometimes move rapidly, it seemed really inconsitent. I am assuming that this type of thing is going to be addressed later on before the final release of the game and that the developers priorities at the moment lie with the actual gameplay, so it isn't a big deal, but more something that will be upsetting if it continues into the full release. When zoomed out, the carts just looked like baskets of goods but on zooming in, the cart itself and the person pulling it appeared. I'll outline some things I noticed that will hopefully be addressed by the developers before the game is released.įirstly, the graphics were very choppy in terms of what was being displayed. It still needs work, but I guess that's why it's still early access. This has the makings of a solid city builder game, and I'm excited to see what the final release looks like. Any input is welcome as I am happy to discuss. It wouldn't let me post a review so I will put it here instead. Stinky fog horn sound1/1/2024 Jandrey, a professor of clinical small animal emergency and critical care at the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine, has heard of potential cases in North Carolina, Rhode Island and Virginia, as well.īecause there is no test yet for the illness and because many of the symptoms are similar to other respiratory infections, such as canine influenza and Bordetella (kennel cough), it’s unknown exactly how many dogs have been affected. Other states with possible cases include: A very small percentage of the dogs have died, Cantu-Schomus said. The Oregon Agriculture Department has received more than 200 case reports from veterinarians around the state since the beginning of August, spokesperson Andrea Cantu-Schomus said in an email. New Hampshire is one of a handful of states that have reported cases of the respiratory infection in dogs. "There are no reports of human illness affiliated with these cases at this time." "APHIS and partners have not yet definitively identified the cause of illness," Stepien responded in an email. Mike Stepien, a spokesperson for the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), said in an email Wednesday the agency is working with multiple state animal health officials and diagnostic labs regarding the respiratory illness in dogs that, "in rare cases, has progressed rapidly to death." One thing veterinarians do know is that the germ is something they don’t recognize. Many researchers have wondered whether it was a bacterial or a viral pathogen. Scientists aren’t even sure yet whether the same bug is making dogs sick across the nation. The UNH team is sharing its results prior to publishing a research article, hoping they will give veterinarians some information as they deal with other respiratory syndrome outbreaks, he said. “After initial sequencing showed there were no known viral, bacterial or fungal pathogens, time consuming and dogged work by graduate student Lawrence Gordon showed that 21 of the initial 30 samples from New Hampshire had some genetic material from one atypical bacterial species,” Needle said.
